Nizamabad: 490 applications got permissions to set up industries

Around 566 applications were received for setting up 276 industrial units in Nizamabad district, of which 490 applications were issued permissions to set up industries, said Collector M Rammohan Rao.Collector M Rammohan Rao on Monday conducted TS-IPass review meeting at district collectorate with industrial, tribal welfare, mining and other department officials. 


Rao said that officials of various departments should give immediate nod to entrepreneurs’ applications under the TS-IPass scheme. Around 61 applications were rejected due to the various reasons.The Collector said that under various schemes, subsidies worth over Rs 51 lakh were issued to 15 SC/ST beneficiaries, and a beneficiary obtained a loan of Rs 79,000 rupees, with 25 paisa interest rate. The remaining SC beneficiaries obtained a loan worth Rs 24.55 lakh while ST beneficiaries obtained loan worth Rs 25.85 lakh.


Industries Department General Manager P Prathap, District Tribal Welfare Officer Sandhya Rani, LDM Suresh Reddy, Mining AD Satyanarayana and other officials participated in the review meeting.
